We are looking for an experienced Beverage Operations Manager. You will be responsible for managing a team of 100 team members, 3 bars,  beverage service for all events and the casino floor. We can offer you a competitive salary, full benefits and an opportunity for growth. 
Areas of Responsibility:

Job Summary:

Manage beverage operations for multiple bars and casino floor service. Apply high guest service standards. Manage staff and department functions. Ensure a pleasant guest experience through a well-trained staff that adequately supplies beverages throughout the casino floor. Control costs through efficient allocation of labor and supplies.

Budget/Asset Responsibilities:
Complete budget for outlet. Execute necessary controls to ensure compliance with budget. Reviews monthly profit and loss statements and explains variances.

Job Duties:

  1. Manage beverage operations for multiple bars and casino floor service. Ensure efficiency for beverage operations as they pertain to production, quality control, administration and cost control. Comply with all alcohol service standards, procedures and guidelines.
  2. Maximize revenue opportunities. Assist in the development and implementation of marketing opportunities, promotions and alcohol related events including cocktail specials, recipes and ideas. Review business performance on a regular basis; devises and recommends strategies to meet guest demands. Analyze trends to project future performance.
  3. Develop and recommend beverage menu, recipes and service standards. Ensure all departments serving alcoholic beverages are in compliance with policies, procedures and guidelines on a consistent basis.
  4. Develop partnerships with vendors in order to: solicit sponsorships, develop marketing programs and promotions, take advantage of price promotions and other vendor supported promotional activities.
  5. Prepare budget. Review monthly profit & loss statement and explains variances; reviews budget daily, including weekly payroll and tip reports.
  6. Interact with guests to ensure exceptional guest service and resolution of guest complaints.
  7. Lead team of direct reports with responsibility to interview, select, hire, promote, train and develop. Complete performance appraisals on direct reports. Conduct disciplinary actions up to termination.
  8. Perform Manager-on-Duty functions.
  9. Provide breaks for other F&B Managers
  10. Coordinate additional training for guest service classes and leadership classes.

Job Requirements

  1. Must be 21 years of age or older.
  2. Demonstrated leadership skills including any combination of post-high school restaurant education and restaurant management experience to equal eight years.
  3. Advanced spirit/wine/beer/bar knowledge required.
  4. Intermediate experience with word-processing, spreadsheets, presentation, and electronic mail software.
  5. Excellent organization and project management skills.
  6. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
  7. Valid driver's license may be required with good driving record.
  8. Demonstrate knowledge of Alcohol Awareness rules and regulations
  9. Certified Food Service Manager Certificate or ability to obtain within one year of employment.
